Read's Tower [2627m] and Mount Sparrowhawk [3121m] viewed from the southern end of the Spray Lakes Reservoir.
Sparrowhawk is the name of an old destroyer of the Fourth Flotilla that participated in the Battle of Jutland. During the course of the foggy nighttime melee, it was rammed by HMS Broke and then the Contest, companion destroyers, and was finally ordered scuttled the next day when it appead obviously unsalvagable.
