It was a very cold day. But, it was a sunny bluebird day so we had to go somewhere!
We convinced Uncle Bruce that he wanted to join us, and we drove into Kootenay National Park to visit Marble Canyon.
We snowshoed along the trail to the waterfall and back. Unfortunately there was a lot of snow on the waterfall so it wasn't that spectacular, but the views of the mountains all around more than made up for it.
We were also lucky enough to time our visit right. As we were heading down, the sun was at just the right angle to shine down through the canyon and light up the creek at the bottom. It was a fantastic sight!
